The Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance is the moment AMG announced what its hybrid era would actually look like. Not the GLE or GLC plug-ins — those were the SUV-line pragmatic products. The GT63 S E Performance is the AMG halo: a four-door grand tourer paired with an F1-derived rear-axle electric drive unit, a 6.1 kWh high-power battery sized for repeatable laps rather than EV range, and the production debut of AMG's hybrid architecture as a performance multiplier.
Mansory's carbon programme for the GT63 S E Performance is dimensioned for that hardware. The car is the AMG Performance Hybrid prototype made commercially available — the body kit is engineered to clothe it with the same level of theatre, with cooling cut-outs sized for the combined ICE + hybrid thermal load and aero geometry validated for the higher kerb weight that the rear-axle hybrid pack imposes.
The GT63 S E Performance pairs Mercedes-AMG's M177 4.0 L V8 BiTurbo at the front (629 hp / 900 Nm in this calibration) with a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor on the rear axle (201 hp / 320 Nm) drawing from a 6.1 kWh lithium-ion high-power battery. The battery is mounted over the rear axle and uses direct cooling of every individual cell — the same battery architecture AMG develops for Formula 1, sized for repeated full-power discharge rather than range. Plug-in charging is supported but the vehicle is configured for performance-first use; AMG quotes ~12 km of EV-only range, deliberately limited.
Combined output: 843 hp / 1 470 Nm. 0-100 km/h: 2.9 s. Top speed: 316 km/h. Transmission: AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G, 9-speed wet-clutch automatic. Drivetrain: AMG Performance 4MATIC+ permanent AWD with electronically controlled rear LSD; the rear electric motor drives through a 2-speed gearbox into a planetary final drive. Suspension: AMG RIDE CONTROL+ adaptive air with active anti-roll. Dimensions: 5 056 × 1 953 × 1 460 mm — wheelbase 2 951 mm. Kerb weight: ~2 380 kg DIN.
The kerb-weight figure is the engineering line that the Mansory body programme is dimensioned around: 2 380 kg is ~250 kg above the pre-PHEV GT63 S, all of it concentrated over the rear axle. The front bumper, fender flares, side-skirt aerofoil and rear diffuser are tuned for that weight distribution rather than imported from the pre-PHEV programme.
The programme is structured as full-replacement carbon for the front and rear bumpers, plus bonded fender extensions and aero overlays. Component schedule:
| Front bumper | Replacement carbon front bumper with deeper splitter, enlarged side intakes for combined ICE + battery cooling, integrated brake-cooling ducts |
| Bonnet | Vented carbon bonnet with twin heat-extractors sized for the M177's 629 hp output and battery thermal management |
| Front fenders | Carbon fender extensions, bonded, +30 mm per side |
| Side skirts | Deep carbon side skirts with integrated longitudinal aero blade |
| Rear fenders | Carbon fender extensions, bonded, +35 mm per side, with rear-quarter air-vent extraction |
| Rear bumper | Replacement carbon rear bumper with full-width carbon diffuser, vertical strakes, quad oval Mansory exhaust bezels |
| Rear wing | Carbon decklid wing with three-position deployment matched to the GT63 S E Performance active-aero ECU |
| Roof | Optional carbon roof panel (replacing factory aluminium or panoramic glass roof) |
| Mirrors and trim | Carbon mirror housings, carbon door-handle inserts, carbon B-pillar trim |
ADAS sensors for adaptive cruise, lane-keep and the active-aero rear wing retain factory positions. The PHEV battery cooling intakes ahead of the rear wheels are preserved at full factory capture area, with the Mansory rear fender extension cut to match.
Factory GT63 S E Performance wheel sizes are 21" / 21". Mansory steps to 22" forged staggered, tyre fitment 285/35 R22 front and 315/30 R22 rear. The rear-axle hybrid drive unit and the additional battery weight require TÜV-documented load-rated forged construction; Mansory's GT63 S E Performance fitment uses the FM.10 deep-multi-spoke or the FM.5 five-spoke as the two patterns most-specified, with FD.16 dual-spoke directional as the alternate. Finishes include matte-black with red brake-caliper accent, satin-anthracite, polished face with bronze inset, and a hybrid-coded matte-bronze finish that Mansory shipped initially on early E Performance commissions. The GT63 S E Performance lands at the intersection of two buyer profiles. First, traditional AMG GT63 S buyers stepping up from the pre-PHEV V8 platform — usually returning AMG owners with multiple AMG generations behind them. Second, performance-curious EV-adjacent clients who would not have bought a pure-V8 AMG but find the F1-coded hybrid messaging compelling. Mansory's commission base on the GT63 S E Performance leans toward the first group; the Mansory body language reads as continuous with prior AMG GT and AMG GT 4-Door commissions rather than as a new identity for the platform.
Two cities define the early-cycle delivery pattern. Stuttgart — the AMG home market and the densest GT63 S E Performance ownership cluster, where Mansory builds ship through the Mansory atelier Brand and route to local AMG-experienced installers. Dubai — the UAE was a launch-priority market for the E Performance and the Mansory take rate has been disproportionate from the first year of production. UAE country brief.
Order intake requires: GT63 S E Performance VIN, build year (the E Performance launched 2023 and remains current at the 2026 model year), exterior paint code, scope (full kit vs selected components), wheel pattern and finish, optional roof panel choice, destination country and customs profile.
Production typically 10-12 weeks for the carbon kit and 22" forged wheels; installation 2-3 weeks at an AMG-experienced workshop. Total order-to-road approximately 4 months.

Does the body kit affect the rear-axle electric drive unit's cooling? No. The rear-fender extension is cut to preserve the full factory cooling-intake capture area for the PHEV battery and the rear-motor cooling loop. The rear-bumper diffuser is dimensioned with clearance for the rear-motor housing and the 2-speed gearbox.
Will the carbon decklid wing integrate with the factory active-aero ECU? Yes. The carbon wing replaces the factory active-aero aerofoil and uses the same actuator mount points and ECU control protocol. Three-position deployment (low-drag / standard / high-downforce) is preserved.
Is the factory plug-in charging port retained? Yes. The rear-bumper geometry is cut to preserve full access to the factory charging port and its lighting ring. No modification to the charging hardware.
What about the AMG GT 4-Door pre-PHEV platform — will the kit fit? No. The GT63 S E Performance has a different rear-axle architecture, additional battery housing, modified rear-floor panels and revised aerodynamic balance. The pre-PHEV AMG GT 4-Door is supported by a separate Mansory programme.
Does the kit include any power increase? No. The Mansory programme as catalogued here is body-and-wheels only. The 843 hp combined output is left as AMG configured it. Engine programmes for the M177 V8 are available separately on request.
