Materials and construction

Body panels are laminated in FRP composite reinforced with basalt or fibreglass fabric, finished in primer-ready grey gel-coat. Optional carbon-fibre pieces (mirror caps, canards, diffuser blades) are pre-preg autoclave carbon with 2×2 twill weave. Ildar Project is a Russian custom-design studio building one-off composite panels — production runs are typically 10–30 units per platform.

Fitment and compatibility

Designed around BMW X7 40D G07 body lines, but every modern car carries cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors that are sensitive to bumper geometry. Confirm exact build (year + trim) with us before ordering so we can pre-verify sensor cut-outs against the production CAD.

Installation

A trained body shop will need 35–60 hours: dry fit, gap calibration (±2 mm is normal for composite), sanding, primer, two-stage paint, full cure, and reassembly with new OEM gaskets. Wheel and tyre upgrades are usually scheduled in parallel.

Pricing

Full body-kit pricing usually lands between €15,000 and €38,000 depending on whether the carbon-fibre add-on package is included and how complex the platform is. Painting, installation and freight are billed separately by the receiving body shop / logistics provider. Shipping and delivery

Orders ship in reinforced wooden crates with foam inserts. Indicative transit times once the order leaves our workshop:

• Asia-Pacific: 12–21 business days

Customs clearance and duty are paid by the consignee and depend on the destination country.

Can the manufacturer's warranty be affected?

Some installations may impact OEM warranty on related components (paint, sensors, suspension). Please confirm with your dealer before ordering. Hodoor does not extend OEM warranty.

How long from order to delivered crate?

Plan for roughly 6–14 weeks end to end: 4–10 weeks in batch production at the manufacturer, then 1–3 weeks shipping depending on destination.

Will my insurance cover the modification?

Most major insurers require notification of aftermarket body or performance modifications. We can supply a manufacturer letter and product datasheets to assist with that conversation; coverage decisions remain with the insurer.

Can the product be shipped to a body shop directly?

Yes — provide the body-shop name, VAT/EORI number and address, and we will configure the shipment paperwork (commercial invoice, HS codes, lifting-point schedule) to deliver direct to the workshop.

What payment options are available?

Wire transfer (SEPA / SWIFT) is the default for full orders; for smaller items we accept Visa/Mastercard via secure gateway. A 30% deposit is typical to start production; balance is due before shipping.
